Edualo Schools was started in 2010 with the aim of providing education to destitute children and disadvantaged people in Bangladesh specially emphasizing on their literacy, nourishment and hygiene. When a child does not receive proper quality education at the beginning of his or her life, they start behind and as a result fall behind, thus leading to achievement gaps in all the phases of life.
Unfortunately, too few children receive quality education opportunities. Edualo Schools provide Education to those poor children whose family has an average daily income below BDT 150 (USD 2) per day. Since these children cannot afford good quality education, Edualo provides them with absolutely free-of-cost education and the schools are run by donations and support of philanthropic individuals and organizations. Edualo strives on sustainable growth and self reliance. To accomplish its goals, Edualo has established separate initiatives, each with a distinct mission but all reflecting to the Foundations long term vision.
Edualo Schools looks to create a better future for the generations to come, a well educated, poverty less, peaceful society free of discrimination and violence.
Edualo Schools look to work in diverse regions of Bangladesh and responding to local needs, the initiatives target the Foundation’s key areas of focus: economic empowerment, education, healthy environment, health systems, and nutrition.
Edualo Schools looks to provide to as many children along with their families the opportunity to come out of poverty. In the long run, Edualo Schools hopes to have fully operational schools along with their projects in all the districts of Bangladesh.
